Panaji: Founder member of Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) Dinesh Vaghela died on Monday night, after brief illness.
AAP Goa Vice President Valmiki Naik said that Vaghela was 73 when he passed away last night (Monday night) at his residence in Panaji, Goa.
As per official website of the party, Vaghela is a member of the National Executive of the Aam Aadmi Party and one of the earliest members to join the party after the India Against Corruption movement.
Originally from Gujarat, he now lives in Goa. He heads the Disciplinary committee of the party,AAP website mentions.
Naik said that the last rites on his mortal remains would be held on April 2 at St Inez Crematorium near Panaji.
