Aap files complaint against CEE and others with ACB for keeping public in darkness

Panaji: AAP has said that the act of the electricity department of keeping the public in the dark for almost 24 hours without proper authority was a fit case to be tried under the prevention of corruption act and IPC and filed a complaint before the ACB today and demanded registration of FIR against the Chief Electrical Engineer and other officials under the said Act.

Aap General Secretary Pradeep Padgaonkar claimed that news was doing emerging that kickbacks to the tune of 4 crores were paid to various officials. He said that it was now the duty of the police to investigate into the complaint to get to the root of the issue and take stringent action. Padgaonkar claimed that another complaint would also be filed with the Old Goa Police station for registration of FIR against these officials for causing annoyance to public , compromising on Public safety, loss of public property under the IPC.
