Panaji: AAP announced the second list of candidates for the upcoming Zilla Panchayat elections. With this, AAP has now declared 22 out of 50 candidates, showing its seriousness, preparation, and clear intent to take on the BJP head-on.

• Penha De Franca – Arvind Tendulkar
• St. Lawrence – Ujjwala Naik
• Querim – Avinash Jadhav
• Veling Priol – Sarita Panjikar
• Curtorim – Clena Fernandes
• Guirdolim – Joseph Pixote
Adv. Amit Palekar, State President, said that AAP is putting forward fresh faces who genuinely wish to serve Goa. He said the candidates are grounded, accessible, and committed to solving real issues. He added that Goa needs new leadership, and AAP is giving that platform.
Valmiki Naik, Working President and National Spokesperson, said the party has chosen people who have walked with the organisation, worked with it, and stood for Goa in every struggle. He said these tickets are given to volunteers who earned the trust of the people, not to parachute candidates.
Gerson Gomes, Working President, said the candidates come from different backgrounds — social work, education, business, and community leadership — but they all share one thing: they have helped AAP serve Goa. He said their commitment to the people is what makes this list strong.
AAP reaffirmed that it contests these ZP elections with sincerity, hard work, and a people-first approach, focusing on healthcare, corruption-free governance, transparency, youth welfare, and village-level development. The party said it stands with the people and now seeks their blessing and support.
