Panaji: AAP Goa chief Amit Palekar on Saturday said that the BJP has been supporting and encouraging illegal sand mafia in the state, which was evident from the alleged phone conversation between a government official and party’s state chief Sadanand Tanavade.
Talking to reporters, Palekar said that the BJP has been actively involved in fostering the illegal sand mafia trade in the state. He said that the party leaders claim themselves above the High Court.
Palekar said that the way BJP leaders are behaving is dangerous for Goa and the democracy.
