Sattari: The well built by Water Supply Department at Bambar village in Sattari is in a bad shape with water getting contaminated. The locals claim that they have been facing health issues after drinking the water from that well.
The villagers have demanded immediate attention of the PWD department towards the well.
They claim that they have been often informing the department requesting them to repair the well but their pleas have fallen on the deaf ears.
The villagers pointed out that the shrubs have come in the well while drinking water becomes problem during the rainy season.
The villagers have demanded that PWD should repair the well in 15 days failing which they will walk to the department office at Valpoi in a protest.
