Panaji: Goa’s coronavirus caseload went up by 706 and reached 1,57,275 on Wednesday , a health department official said.
The death toll mounted to 2,693 as 22 of the patients succumbed to the infection during the day, he said.
The number of recovered patients in the state rose to 143742 with 1711 of them getting discharged on Wednesday. The number of active cases is now 10,840, the official said.
“With 3715 new tests, the total number of tests conducted in the state has gone up to 8,31,372,” he added.
