Panaji: In all 57.63 voters turned out for both the Lok Sabha seats in Goa till 3 p.m., with long queues still existing outside the polling booths.
As per the data released by Chief Electoral Office, North Goa witnessed 58.31 per cent while in South Goa, 56.93 per cent people turned to vote since morning.
The state is also hosting by-elections in three Assembly constituencies which saw good turn out. Mapusa Assembly constituency had 56.28 per cent people voting till 3 p.m. while at Shiroda, 61.39 per cent people voted. In Mandrem Assembly constituency, the voting percentage was high, 64.91 per cent.
