Panaji: Goa’s coronavirus caseload went up by 423 and reached 1,61,576 on Friday , a health department official said.
The death toll mounted to 2,899 as eight of the patients succumbed to the infection during the day, he said.
The number of recovered patients in the state rose to 153476 with 819 of them getting discharged on Friday. The number of active cases is now 5201, the official said.
“With 3599 new tests, the total number of tests conducted in the state has gone up to 8,61,855,” he added.
