Vasco: More than 300 tourists from German and other European Union countries were airlifted back to Frankfurt on Tuesday morning by special flight from Goa.
Goa is having a lockdown to fight back COVID-19.
A special flight from Frankfurt had arrived to take back these tourists who were stranded in the beach destination.
Goa Airport tweeted “One more relief flight this time to Frankfurt consisting of German and European Union pax 317 in all, departed from Goa international airport at 5.30 a.m. today. The team Goa on job at all the times.”
State chief minister Pramod Sawant had told reporters on Monday that there are several foreign tourists stranded in the state who are being airlifted by concerned authorities.
