Panaji: Goa’s coronavirus caseload went up by 253 and reached 1,62,721 on Monday, a health department official said.
The death toll mounted to 2,937 as nine of the patients succumbed to the infection during the day, he said.
The number of recovered patients in the state rose to 155378 with 720 of them getting discharged on Monday. The number of active cases is now 4406, the official said.
“With 1695 new tests, the total number of tests conducted in the state has gone up to 8,69,830,” he added.
