Panaji: Goa’s coronavirus caseload went up by 1209 and reached 1,39,985 on Wednesday, a health department official said.
The death toll mounted to 2,228 as 31 of the patients succumbed to the infection during the day, he said.
The number of recovered patients in the state rose to 114793 with 2160 of them getting discharged on Wednesday. The number of active cases is now 22,964, the official said.
“With 3873 new tests, the total number of tests conducted in the state has gone up to 7,69,184,” he added.
