Mulgao: 108-year-old Heerabai Naguesh Parab became the oldest person in Goa to receive Covid-19 vaccine. She took the jab at the camp in Mulgao, which was organised by BJP’s Medical Cell and Community Health Centre, Bicholim.
She is the oldest lady to take the vaccine. “May be she is the oldest in India to take the jab,” said Dr Shekhar Salkar, Goa Chief of BJP Medical Cell.
Total 223 people took the first jab in the community vaccination centre at Dhakti Vandevi Hall, Mulgao.Speaker of legislative Assembly Rajesh Patnekar, CHC Bicholim Medical Officer Dr Medha Salkar, Vishwas Gaonkar, Shilpa Naik, Shruti Ghatwal, Deep Shirgaonkar and others were present on the occasion.
