Panaji: Hardly 1.7 million tons of ore got sold during the e-auction process held on Thursday.
The Mines department had identified total 5.34 million tons of ore for the e-auction at a base price of Rs 400 per tons.
The department is expected to have earned around Rs 100 crore through the bids.
The e-auction was conducted through metal scrap trading corporation (MSTC).
