Pernem police have arrested 02 accused persons in connection with a gold chain snatching case at Korgao.
As per SDPO Pernem Jivba Dalvi on 01/02/2024 two persons had attempted to snatch a gold chain of a lady while she walking at Korgao. In this connection an FIR was registered and investigation was taken up during which various teams were formed for technical and mobile surveillance.
Further based upon meticulous analysis of technical aspects 02 accused persons namely 1) Mr. Niraj Gupta s/o Gulab chand Gupta, age: 22 years, r/o Maharajganj, Uttar Pradesh and Mr. Totan Sannyasin s/o Sachindra Nath Sannyasi, age-28 years n/o Dakshin Dinajpur,West Bengal have been placed under arrest today under sections 356, 379 of IPC.
Further investigation is on with PSI Harish Vaigankar under Supervision of PI Pernem Sachin Lokre and under overall supervision of SDPO Pernem Jivba Dalvi and SP North Nidhin Valsan
