Pernem Police have arrested 02 accused persons for committing theft in Tomato restaurant at Morjim.
As per PI Jivba Dalvi a complaint was received from the manager of tomato restaurant that some persons have committed theft of cash of Rs. 1,17,000/- from the cash counter early morning on 07/02/2021.
Further teams were formed under the supervision of PI Dalvi and immediately FIR was registered the. The Police teams analysed the CCTV footages and found one employee to be involved in the theft. Acvordingly the employee namely Anshukumar Mondal, N/o Badarpur, New Delhi was first arrested and interrogated thoroughly.
During interrogation the whereabouts of the second accused person were traced at a hotel in Mapusa and Mr. Jahid Ansari, N/o Faridabad, Haryana was arrested.
Police have recovered a total cash of Rs.70,000/- from the accused persons.
Both the accused persons have been placed under arrest under section 381 IPC.
