Colvale police have arrested 02 accused persons namely Mr. Shahrukh Kareli and Mr. Mohammad Ilahi both residents of Mapusa in connection with the a molestation case.
As per SDPO Mapusa Jivba Dalvi a complaint was lodged by one lady wherein both the accused persons abused her and her daughter with filthy words and further asked for sexual favours from them.
Immediately upon receipt of complaint Colvale Police registered FIR under sections 354, 509, 506(ii) R/w 34 IPC and arrested both the accused persons namely 1. Mr. Shahrukh Kareli, age 24 yrs R/o Dhuler, Mapusa Goa and 2. Mr. Mohammad Ilahi, age 25 yrs R/o Karaswada, Mapusa Goa.
Further both accused persons are presently in police custody.
Further investigation is in progress with PSI Bharat Kharat under the supervision of SDPO Mapusa Jivba Dalvi and SP North Nidhin Valsan, IPS.
