Panaji: Goa Police on Thursday arrested an active member of Lawrence Bishnoi gang who was absconding from Rajasthan after committing a crime on March 04, 2023.
A senior officer said that Panaji police arrested Pavan Solanki, originally from Mandor, Jodhpur, Rajasthan, on Thursday. The accused is an active member of Lawrence Bishnoi gang, he added.
The details of the place of arrest were not revealed by panaji police.
The arrest was made after Sardarpura Police station informed Panaji police about the accused living in Panaji area, after absconding from Rajasthan.
As per the complaint filed with Rajasthan police, on March 04, 2023, the accused along with his associates, entered in the office of one Jesaram, tied his hand and robbed him for lakhs of rupees.
The accused was absconding after committing the offence, police said.
