Non Essential medical services to be shut down on Monday

Panaji: Indian Medical Association (IMA) as a part of nationwide call has decided to shut down non-essential medical services on June 17 from 6 a.m to 6 p.m..

The doctors are protesting against assault on their counterparts in West Bengal.

IMA has said that emergency and casualty services will remain open during the strike.

“Also all IMA doctors will be available for all emergencies if need be,” the association has said in a press note released here.

The doctors are also planning to have silent morcha in Panaji at 10 a.m. tomorrow starting from Azad Maidan till Old GMC complex.
