Manohar Parrikar to fly to AIIMS, Delhi for regular check up today

Panaji: Ailing Goa Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar would be flying to All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi today evening for regular check up, officials stated.

Parrikar, 63, is suffering from pancreatic ailment and has been taking treatment at his private residence at Dona Paula since October 14 when he was discharged from AIIMS.

“CM will be flying to Delhi tonight for regular check up at AIIMS. He is expected to be admitted there for next four days,” a senior Chief Minister’s office official said.

He said that after the ongoing State Legislative Assembly Session’s culmination this evening he will be flying to Delhi.

Parrikar had presented State Budget on January 30 despite his ill health and has participated during all three days of the Session.
