Mandrem: Former Chief Minister Laxmikant Parsekar who is disappointed after Dayanand Sopte’s entry in BJP has clearly hinted that he might contest upcoming by-election from Mandrem on MGP ticket.
Sources stated that Parsekar held a marathon meeting with MGP leaders on Monday.
When contacted, Parsekar said that he had asked BJP to conduct the survey on winnability in the constituency. “I am expecting the survey result to be out in next two days,” he said.
The former chief minister said “all options are open” when he was asked whether he is likely to join MGP.
