Bambolim: Ailing Goa Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar on Saturday said that Congress will face same fate that of Sri Lanka.

Parrikar was addressing Atal Booth Karyakarta Sammelan in presence of Party’s National President Amit Shah. The Chief Minister was apparently referring to the political instability in Sri Lanka.

“The thing which happened to Sri Lanka it will be of Congress,” Parrikar said asking the party workers to stand united during upcoming Lok Sabha election.

“We should be together, forget minor differences,  be together the sake of country and re-elect Modi,” said Parrikar in his short speech.

He appealed the workers to “ignore the rumours that would be floated in the run up for Lok Sabha election.”

“Our aim should be ‘Iss Bar narendra Modi’. I have faith that we will achieve it,” he said.

Parrikar, who is ailing from pancreatic ailment, said that he would not deliver a lengthy speech which he has kept for the Lok Sabha campaign.

“You have gathered in a big number here. I will not be speaking much today. I am reserving my lengthy speeches for election,” he said at the beginning of his address.
