Panaji: Police have booked a 45-year-old government servant for sexually harassing a minor girl near Panaji.
Women’s Police Station in Panaji has booked George Dias, a government servant employed with Public Works Department, for sexually harassing a minor girl.
A senior police official stated that First Information Report has been filed against Dias after complaint against him was received on Monday, February 11.
The mother of the victim has complained that the accused sexually harassed her minor daughter. The case under section 354 (Sexual harassment) and 504 (Intentional Insult with intent to provoke breach of peace) has been registered against the accused.
