Goa Mining dependents began their protest in Delhi, State politicians to arrive today

New Delhi: Goa Mining People’s Front has begun their three-day-long protests in the national capital demanding resumption of mining activity in the State.

Around one thousand mining dependents led by union leader Puti Gaonkar will be staging protests at Ram Leela Maidan first and then at Jantar Mantar to impress for the demand of resumption of mining in the State.

All the mining dependents arrived in different batches in the national capital last night bearing a chilling cold of 12 degree celcius.

BJP Minister Nilesh Cabral is amongst the first political leader who is expected to arrive here this morning followed by Goa Forward Party leaders including Town and Country Planning Minister Vijai Sardesai, Fisheries Minister Vinod Palyekar and RDA Minister Jayesh Salgaoncar.

Shiv Sena leaders are amongst the other political party representatives that have arrived in Delhi to participate in the protest.
