Old Goa police have arrested four persons namely 1. Mr. Mahesh Kankonkar, age 29 2. Nagesh Dhanikule age 24, 3. Manmesh kunkalkar age 24 and 4. Sunil Madkaikar age 29 all R/o Chimbel, Tiswadi – Goa for committing a robbery of cash of Rs. 500/- , gold chain worth Rs. 50,000/- and assaulting a person with kicks, Fist blows and slaps and using metal kada worn in hand.
As per PI Jivba Dalvi a complaint was lodged by Mr. Suraj S/o Shivking Tari, age 18 yrs R/o Chimbel informing that while he was driving his brothers bus the accused persons got angry over the reason of overtaking their Wagon r car GA-07-K-0726 and further committed the above crime. The said incident happened at around 12:45 pm at Gaulebhat, Chimbel – Goa.
All the accused fled away from the scene after committing crime
Police traced the accused persons based on the vehicle number and placed them under arrest and lodged in police lockup. Police have recovered WagonR car use in crime , adhar card along with cash.
An offence under section 392 R/w 34 IPC has been registered.
All the 04 accused persons are having criminal background.
Further investigation is in progress with psi Edwin Dais under the supervision of PI Jivba Dalvi.
