New Delhi: As the patience of the mining dependents is running out, the leaders of BJP and MGP, who are in the ruling in the state, have begun facing ire of the agitators.

Goa Mining People’s Front has been agitating at Jantar Mantar today, after their two day long protest at Ram Leela Maidan in New Delhi,.

BJP’s BIcholim MLA Rajesh Patnekar who arrived here to support the agitators faced volley of questions after he addressed the crowd. Patnekar criticized his own government for its failure to resume the mining industry.

But the agitators were not satisfied and wanted to know why Patnekar is still in the party despite criticizing it. They demanded that he should step down to send a clear signal to the party.

Similarly, MGP Executive President Narayan Sawant also was asked to give assurance that his party will pull out of the government, if mining does not start by December 15.

The protestors recalled that his party had set a deadline of December 15.
