Sanguem: Chief Minister Pramod Sawant has said that the current government is a continuation of Manohar Parrikar-led coalition, which will implement his vision for next three years.

“Last two years, it was Parrikar-led government and for next three years also it would be Parrikar government. We will continue his vision and path which was shown by him. Parrikar’s vision will be implemented in the state for next three years,” he told BJP booth karyakarta sammelan at Sanguem.

He also said that BJP Candidate Narendra Sawaikar had got 8,000 votes lead from Sanguem constituency during last time, and this time, it would be increased further.

Speaking about the government, Sawant said  “this is a government of coalition with GFP and Independents.”

“MGP was with us but we had to drop their minister. Their MLAs came to us on their own,” he said.

“Bandodkar must be crying up there looking at the affairs of MGP. We didn’t break the coalition, they did not abide by coalition dharma. They were not interested in Goa’s interest, they were selfish,” he added.

“We took the decision in the interest of State and the people of  Goa. For us state first and second is the interest of the party,” the Chief minister said.

“Now, they have joined hands with Congress. Never ever MGP told to vote for Congress in the past. People are not fools. Goans are realizing the politics behind that. The way they have formed coalition with congress for selfish behavior, people will teach them lesson,” he said.

“I have grown from a party worker to the CM. I don’t think congress will ever allow  any booth level worker to become cm. My father was not MLA or MP, he was a common worker of the party,” he said.

“I am yet to complete one month in the seat. We have to follow the vision of Parrikar who had asked us to Be Positive. If he was alive he would have told that Modi should be made next PM. If we want to fulfill his wish then we should get both the seats elected,” the chief minister said.
